Web development agency in London
Web applications and websites built in Next.js by a London software studio: specification, design, build, hosting and support, for clients in the UK and abroad.
Digital Souls Studios is a web development agency in London. The work is two kinds: web applications, where the product itself runs in the browser, and websites, where the page has to be found and has to load fast. Both are built in Next.js and React to a specification agreed in writing, hosted, and supported after launch.
Recent web applications are EveryTalk, conversation training for teams, and ASURISQ, an anti-money-laundering compliance platform. The studio's directory Scheduler.social and this website are Next.js sites built for search.
What we build
- Web applicationsThe product itself, in the browser: accounts, data, workflows and dashboards, as in EveryTalk and ASURISQ.
- Company websitesA site built for search and speed, with its metadata, sitemap and structured data done at build time. This website is one.
- E-commerceAn online store, or search and performance work on one that already exists.
- Landing pagesA page built around one action, measured so the action can be counted.
- WebflowSites built in Webflow where a client wants to edit pages without a developer.
- Frontend and backendInterface work on an existing product, or the API and data behind it. See custom software development for larger builds.
Built for search and speed
Pages are rendered on the server, so search engines and link previews get the content without running scripts. Every page has its own title, description, canonical URL and structured data. This site publishes a sitemap of every indexable page and hreflang links across its fifty languages, and its images are resized and converted at request time.
Speed is measured rather than promised. In October 2026 the home page of this site scored 95 on Lighthouse mobile with a largest contentful paint of 1.7 seconds; the method is written up in the website performance article. Search work after launch is listed under SEO and performance.
Who does the work
Engineering is led by Isaac Surfraz, with about a decade across software and platform architecture and previous CTO roles at Minday and Medical Realities. Catalina Crisan leads product and direction and designs the interfaces. Lucas Comte builds the services behind them. All three are on the studio page.

How a project moves
From discovery to deployment, we handle design, engineering, infrastructure, and launch.
- 01
Specification
Tell us about the idea in writing. We put together a specification tailored to the work.
- 02
Production
We design and build it, with regular updates rather than a long silence.
- 03
Launch
We help launch the project and leave it in a state a team can run.
- 04
Support
If you would rather not run it alone, support packages cover maintenance after launch.
Recent public dates: the studio's first client website launched in March 2024; ASURISQ launched in December 2025; EveryTalk ran its beta in December 2025 and launched for businesses in March 2026. The timeline for a new site or application is set in the specification.
Technologies
Next.js and React for the interface, Node.js services, PostgreSQL with Prisma, Tailwind CSS, and Webflow where a client edits the site themselves. Hosting is AWS, DigitalOcean or the client's own infrastructure; this site runs on DigitalOcean.

Questions
- How much does a website cost in the UK?
- It depends on whether it is a company site, a store or a web application, and project work is quoted in writing after the specification. The published UK ranges are set out in the website cost guide. The published packages on the home page cover ongoing work after launch, from £1,000 a month.
- Which platform do you build websites on?
- Next.js by default, which is what this site and the studio's products use. Webflow where the client wants to edit pages without a developer. Web applications are Next.js and React with a Node.js back end.
- Do you host the site after launch?
- Hosting is set up as part of the build, on AWS, DigitalOcean or your own infrastructure, and handed over with documentation. Ongoing hosting, deployments and maintenance are covered by the retainer if you would rather not run it.
- Can you work on a site or application we already have?
- Yes. Frontend, backend, performance and search work on an existing product are all listed above, and the specification step applies to those too.
- Do you work with businesses outside London?
- Yes. The studio is in London and works remotely; EveryTalk and ASURISQ are Danish products.
