UI/UX design agency in London
Interface design in Figma, clickable prototypes and component libraries, from a London studio that also builds the product, so the design is what ships.
Digital Souls Studios is a UX design agency in London where the designers and the engineers are the same team. Interfaces are designed in Figma, tested as clickable prototypes, and handed over as components the build uses, so what is designed is what ships. The work covers new products, existing products that need a redesign, and the brand around them.
Design at the studio is led by Catalina Crisan, previously a designer and technical designer at Medical Realities, who has shaped UI/UX, brand and marketing for companies including Insight Consultancy, Utopia Spa & Global Wellness and Nightz App. Recent product design includes Calorie Genie, EveryTalk and Scheduler.social.
What we design
- Interface design in FigmaWireframes, screens and handoff, for web and mobile. The method is in the wireframes article.
- Clickable prototypesA prototype of the core flow that can be put in front of users before anything is built.
- Component librariesA set of interface components with notes on how to use them, built as code the product consumes.
- Redesign of an existing productResearch, wireframes and a launch plan for a product that is already live. See the redesign guide.
- BrandingA logo and the visual identity around it, applied to the product and the site.
- Design in the buildDesign and engineering in one studio, under web development and mobile app development.
Design that ships
Most design work fails between the Figma file and the product. Here the component library is the deliverable: the buttons, forms, lists and layouts are built once as code, documented, and used by every screen. A redesign starts from what users do in the live product, and the specification records the decisions so the build does not reopen them.
The studio's own products show the result. Calorie Genie turns a daily routine into a journey of quests and streaks; Scheduler.social sets two tools side by side in a comparison. Both were designed and built by the same people.

How a project moves
From discovery to deployment, we handle design, engineering, infrastructure, and launch.
- 01
Specification
Tell us about the idea in writing. We put together a specification tailored to the work.
- 02
Production
We design and build it, with regular updates rather than a long silence.
- 03
Launch
We help launch the project and leave it in a state a team can run.
- 04
Support
If you would rather not run it alone, support packages cover maintenance after launch.
Recent public dates: Calorie Genie reached the App Store in June 2026; EveryTalk launched for businesses in March 2026; Scheduler.social launched in beta in March 2026. A design-only engagement follows the same four steps, ending in a handoff rather than a deployment.
Technologies
Figma for design and prototypes, React and Tailwind CSS for component libraries, Webflow where the client edits the site, and the same Next.js and React Native stack as the rest of the studio for the build.

Questions
- What is the difference between UI and UX design?
- UX is how the product works for the person using it: the flow, the decisions, what happens when something goes wrong. UI is what they see and touch: layout, type, colour, components. The studio does both, and the UI/UX article goes into the difference.
- Do you only design, or do you build as well?
- Both. A design-only engagement ends in Figma files, a prototype and a component library handed over to your team. More often the same studio builds the product, so the design does not get lost in handoff.
- Can you redesign a product that is already live?
- Yes. A redesign starts from what users do in the current product, moves through wireframes and a prototype, and is launched with a plan for content and search so nothing is lost.
- How much does UX design cost?
- Design work is quoted in writing after the specification, like the rest of the studio's project work. Ongoing design is one of the lines covered by the all-in-one retainer.
- Do you work with businesses outside London?
- Yes. The studio is in London and works remotely.
